1. Scope and data controller
This policy applies to eatnaia.com and its English, French and Dutch pages. For the current development phase, privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@eatnaia.com.
Before naia starts collecting bookings, orders, applications through an online form or other customer data, this notice will be updated with the complete identity and contact details of the responsible operating company.
2. Information that may be processed
The website does not currently offer accounts, online ordering, booking forms or a contact form. Depending on how you interact with us, limited information may still be processed.
- Technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps and diagnostic logs.
- Your cookie and privacy preferences, stored locally on your device.
- Contact details and message content if you choose to email us.
- CV, experience, contact details and other information you voluntarily include in a future job application sent by email.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use technical data to keep the site available, secure and reliable, based on our legitimate interests. We remember privacy settings because this is necessary to provide the choice you requested.
We process messages to answer enquiries, consider location opportunities, collaborations and candidate applications. Depending on the context, this is based on legitimate interests or steps requested before entering into a contract.
Optional analytics or marketing tools will only be activated after consent. No such tracking tools are currently installed.
4. Cookies and local storage
The site currently stores one necessary preference record named naia_cookie_preferences in your browser's local storage. It records whether you accepted or rejected optional categories and the date of your choice.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this policy and the preference panel will identify them before they are activated.
5. Service providers and transfers
We may use trusted providers for website hosting, security and email. They may process limited information only to provide those services and under appropriate contractual safeguards.
Some providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, recognised transfer safeguards will be used. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
Information is kept only for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, security, dispute handling and legal obligations. Website logs follow the hosting provider's operational retention schedule.
Enquiries are kept while they remain useful to the conversation or potential business relationship. Recruitment information is kept for the recruitment process and a limited follow-up period, unless a longer talent-pool period is separately agreed.
7. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR and applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to hello@eatnaia.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at dataprotectionauthority.be.
8. Children, security and changes
This website is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect children's personal data. We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect information, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
We may update this policy as naia develops, new services are introduced or legal requirements change. The latest date will always appear at the top of this page.
